New Business Development Manager
We are looking for an Experienced Business Development Professional with a proven track record working within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry specialising in selling PCBA, Cable Assembly and Box Build manufacturing services.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Seek and win new business from new customer for our full range of Electronic Manufacturing Services
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS:
Experienced Business Development Professional with a proven track record working within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry specialising in selling PCBA, Cable Assembly and Box Build manufacturing services.
Technical Sales experience in the full turnkey manufacturing operation is required.
The Ideal candidate will have the ability to converse with Purchasing Managers & buyer’s as well as designers, engineers and manufacturing personnel, whilst also offering technical support and advice on best methods and practice.
Fully conversant with manufacturing processes both manual and automated related to both PCBA and Cable assembly.
Able to understand drawings and interrogate customer BOM’s, engineering the processes and documentation for manufacture and solving problems encountered by production.
Attend NPI and contract review meetings for new business introduction.
Support the estimating department with material and labour in meeting RFQ timelines for customers.
A fully rounded Technical Sales professional with a successful proven track record selling into OEM’s, Engineers and Manufacturing within a wide variety of industries, who can pro-actively generate and pursue new business opportunities.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
Compliance with the requirements of the documented business management systems through adherence to Quality and Environmental processes, procedures and policies.
Participation in audits as required (internal, Customer and certification).
Current and valid driving licence
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to identify new customers and new markets for our manufacturing services.
A good working knowledge of key suppliers of cable, components, pcb materials.
