Business Development Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Seek and win new strategically important business from new customers for our full range of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS

Experienced technical sales professional with a proven track record working within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry (CEM) specialising in selling PCBA, Cable Assembly and Box Build manufacturing services or with an electronic component manufacturer.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to converse with Purchasing Managers & buyer’s as well as designers, engineers and manufacturing personnel, whilst also offering technical support and advice on best methods and practices.

Fully conversant with manufacturing processes both manual and automated related to both PCBA and Cable assembly.

Able to understand drawings and interrogate customer BOM’s

Pro-actively generate and pursue targeted and strategic new business opportunities.

Become fully conversant with manufacturing processes both manual and automated related to both PCBA and Cable assembly.

Able to understand drawings and interrogate customer BOM’s,

Attend NPI and contract review meetings for new business introduction.

Use EES to process and quote customer inquiries.

Liaise and work closely with Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Operations departments on customer Technical, Material, Quality or Production issues.

EXPERIENCE

Ideally a proven track record working within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry (CEM) specialising in selling PCBA, Cable assembly and Box Build manufacturing services

Technical Sales experience in the electronics market.
