Electronics Buyer

An opportunity has arisen for a new full-time stores role based in Basingstoke to work within a dynamic team with the opportunity for progression.

Key Tasks

  • Placing orders on key approved suppliers using ERP, MRP, Kanban orders and other Ad hoc demand
  • Progressing orders on supply chain as required
  • Raising reject notes
  • Monitoring of various internal buffer reports
  • Assisting to resolve invoice queries
  • Liaison with all levels of the Business as required
  • Data Integrity / maintenance of required records & documentation
  • Supporting logistics matters
  • Other Ad hoc Purchasing tasks

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good problem solving capability
  • High levels of self-motivation
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good IT skills and good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office software
  • PC literate
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative but can also work as part of a close-knit team

Senior Account Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Manager based at our HQ in Basingstoke to work within our dynamic sales team to support some of our most important customers and reporting to the Sales Director.

Key Tasks

  • A pro-active, hands on Senior Customer Account Management role.
  • Manage and interpret customer expectations and general activity, heighten customer interaction by means of good communications when required, customer visits and involvement with internal and off-site customer meetings.
  • Project manage the transfer and implementation of large new customer projects from development to customer delivery.
  • Working closely in customers to ensure customer satisfaction and secure repeat business.
  • Close Management with strong support relationships of key accounts.
  • Identifying and highlighting opportunities to increase and develop House Sales Accounts.
  • Liaise with engineering, estimating, purchasing

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent Customer Communications.
  • Commercial acumen
  • Confident to present both internally and to the customer base.
  • Negotiation skills, determination and persuasiveness.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer Skills- Must be experienced in the use of Word and Excel as well as accurate customer tracking via a CRM tool such as ACT.
  • Good command of the English language both verbally and written.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure from a busy and varied workload.
  • An ability to analyse and evaluate situations to produce a range of effective solutions to problems.
